Payment & Delivery Policy

At Deals for Buddies, we strive to make the payment and delivery process simple, secure, and transparent. Please read the following policy carefully before participating in our auctions.

1. Winning an Auction

When you place the highest successful bid on an auction item, you enter into a legally binding agreement to purchase that item.

Successful bidders will receive an invoice containing:

• Auction details
• Winning bid amount
• Applicable fees and charges
• Delivery costs (if applicable)
• Payment instructions

2. Payment Methods

We currently accept the following payment methods:

• Instant EFT
• Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
• Debit Cards
• Credit Cards
• Apple Pay (where available)
• Samsung Pay (where available)
• PayFast
• SnapScan
• Zapper
• Mobicred
• RCS Payment Solutions

Additional payment methods may be added from time to time.

3. Payment Timeframes

Payment must be completed within 48 hours (2 days) of receiving your invoice unless otherwise stated.

Failure to make payment within the required timeframe may result in:

• Cancellation of the order
• Suspension of your account
• Permanent restriction from future auctions
• Relisting of the item without notice

Deals for Buddies reserves the right to recover any losses incurred due to non-payment.

4. Order Processing

Orders will only be processed once:

• Full payment has been received and cleared.
• Payment verification has been completed where necessary.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment method used.

5. Delivery Areas

We currently deliver throughout South Africa.

Delivery to remote or outlying areas may require additional transit time and charges.

6. Delivery Timeframes

Once payment has been confirmed, orders are generally dispatched within:

4 to 6 business days

Delivery times may vary depending on:

• Product availability
• Courier schedules
• Public holidays
• Weather conditions
• Delivery location

Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed.

7. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on:

• Package size and weight
• Delivery destination
• Courier rates

Shipping charges will be displayed during checkout or included on your invoice where applicable.

8. Tracking Information

Where available, tracking information will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

Customers are responsible for monitoring shipment progress using the provided tracking details.

9. Collection Option

Certain items may be available for collection.

Where collection is permitted:

• Collection details will be communicated after payment.
• Valid identification may be required.
• Collection must be arranged within the specified timeframe.

10. Delivery Delays

Deals for Buddies shall not be held liable for delays caused by:

• Courier service disruptions
• Industrial action or strikes
• Natural disasters
• Public holidays
• Load shedding
• Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

We will make every effort to keep customers informed of significant delays.

11. Incorrect Delivery Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details.

Deals for Buddies will not be responsible for delays, losses, or additional costs resulting from incorrect information supplied by the customer.

Additional delivery charges may apply if parcels need to be redirected or resent.

12. Damaged or Missing Parcels

If your order arrives damaged:

• Notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
• Provide photographs of the package and contents.
• Retain all original packaging.

Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.

13. Ownership & Risk

Ownership of goods transfers to the buyer only once full payment has been received.

Risk in the goods transfers to the buyer upon successful delivery or collection.

14. Refunds

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed according to our Returns & Refund Policy.

Approved refunds will be paid using the original payment method where possible.

15. Fraud Prevention

Deals for Buddies reserves the right to:

• Verify payments before dispatch.
• Request proof of identity.
• Delay shipment while fraud checks are completed.
• Cancel orders suspected of fraudulent activity.
